A Change of Scenery

Recommended Posts

A mate and I swapped the open burries of the dales for some woodland ferreting yesterday. We were doing a steep sided banking, which was difficult with all the rain we'd had over the past week. The first warren was a large one, using about 40 nets. My two jills went in and pushed out the 5 rabbits that were in there. We netted another couple of burries around some gorse bushes which both held a rabbit, bringing the bag up to 7. We then decided to have a wander through the wood and over some fields to see if we could bag a few over there, but it was completely devoid of life. We left it there for ferreting, and went to pick up a few rabbits off Charlie Nelly to skin.
