what dog

Recommended Posts

if you had a choice out of all the pure breed dogs youd put to the greyhound or any type of sight hound to make a lurcher what would you choose to hunt lamp with

eg staff ebt collie bedlington and what would be best to fill the pot with rabbits not saying all would be fast enough but what would you choose or a lab

Has anyone ever seen a Borzoi work.? I was very temped a few years ago to buy one - but the only available ones were across the water in England somewhere.

Always wondered if they would make half decent rabbit dogs.? :victory:

The right type of pastoral dog, something biddable and trainable but hard and a bit wild, fearless with any stock or intruders. The right sort of good old fashioned farm collie would be a good place to start looking, but any pastoral dog fitting the description could be considered.
