optelic2 48
Think i will stick to my 22lr, .17hmlr and .177 pcp. All three together cost less than that Daystate on steroids Edited September 30, 2012 by optelic2 1 Quote Link to post
Craig83 52
i was thinking of buying one, i even had it put on my ticket.....but a .25 80lb Air Ranger would do a similar job and it has a better shot count. Love the Wolverine thou, i just couldnt live with the shot count Quote Link to post

charleskerry 0
Not keen on the wolverine. Mainly the fact that you know you only have around ten good shots before a reload of air pressure. Quote Link to post
charlie caller 3,654
Pointless, expensive (very) and why would you want a thing that only gives ten shots, I would have thought controlling greys, you would want to shoot as many as possible, not run out of air and have to go back to the vehicle after twenty minutes, apart from not being able to shoot up into the trees with either, a .22lr is cheaper (lots), quieter, and can be semi automatic, and I bet .303 pellets are not that easy to get if you run out, .22lr ammo is available in every gunshop in the country I would think, no I just dont see the point of that rifle, except as a collectors piece perhaps. Random bring back of an old old post there Charlie... you been sifting through the threads..? Think its more the US market man. So any idea of subtlety disappears from the word go. Quote Link to post

No mate go back a couple of posts, it was an American friend of ours a mr Charleskerry, I just watched the video, and thought how utterly pointless,if you really must have a high power large calibre air rifle, the Air force Texan, .45 cal doing 500ftlbs makes that Wolverine look like a popgun over here I just dont see the point, or use for that Wolverine, when a .22rf beats it hands down on all points, in my humble opinion the only use for that, other than a talking point at dinner parties, is for equipment man to show off and play the big I am at his local club it is no good as a fox tool, ok yes I am sure it would kill one at a short range, but 100ftlbs is .22rf energy using subsonic bullets, not much good for foxes, so where I ask does it fit in? it has a crap shot count, I would imagine ammo is expensive, and would it do anything a normal .177-.22-.25 fac rifle would not do on rabbits etc? Apart from having the trajectory of a mortar round Quote Link to post
