Howa 1500 or Savage Axis in .243

Hi, just got my certificate back with .243 added.

Just wondering if any of you have any opinions which is better.

i have howa 1500 and i cant fault it, good weight accurate enough for what i do

i'll 2nd that ,howa 1500 thumbholestock maybe a it heavy but accurate, from 50 yrds out to 200 yrds, only just over an inch out on a 1" dot on the target ,i use 90 gr sako soft points

I too have the Howa 1500 in .243 with stainless barrel and action and a laminte thumb hole stock but as its my first centre fire rifle I have nothing to comapre it to. For me it feels well buit, was great value for money and it is more than accurate enough for me. It was like new when i picked it up so hopefully I will get many years of good use from it.

I got a Howa 1500 Sporter. Its in .204, but I cant fault it. Handloading now and sub 0.5" groups
