Got another dog...

Mary decided to add to 666 Squadron, We have Biggles and Algy, now we also have a Bertie, to be more precise a Lord Bertie Lissie. a 16 week old, part Klingon, part Mountain Goat and part Cocker Spaniel hybrid....

 

As demonstrated...

 

 

The quietest one of two who were left, his brother was hyper, completely hyper, poor Bertie was run over, sat on, squashed, but once he made your acquaintance, he did not want to leave it! A lovely dog, just addicted to sleeping behind you on the sofa!

if only i could convince my Missus about having another dog ....i had one years ago cross labrador ...........loved to sleep on the bed no room for us lol

Biggles is the damned same, 50kg of gun dog Labrador (old variety ie like brick outhouse,, large head, large feet, could tow trucks for fun), He always decides to have a cuddle at around 5:30 am, so he gets up carefully, never wakes you up, until he collapses on top of you like an all in wrestler.... Then he gyrates to get comfortable, then he snores.

 

He used to sleep in a crate downstairs, but when we started decorating he moved into the bedroom temporarily, 3 years ago!

Today we find out what teeth are for! We try biting owner gently to be met with a loud yelp of pain and the immediate removal of fuss! Not a chipper situation, we stop using teeth on owner!

I'm going to train to do flyball, doing to build course in rear garden, might train Algy as well, corgis are meant to be good at it, the little chaps needs a hobby..

Berties job seems to be chasing rogue pigeon feathers left over from plucking, little swine can smell them from about 4 miles away, usually winds up with it stuck to his conk!
