jcm 2,327
I had my name down for a jackrussel pup, i had been and chose which pup i wanted but sadly it wasnt to be the pup past away today just short of 2 weeks old. I dont need any one to slag the breeder as he done everything he could to try unfortunatly this particular pup did not have the strenght to pull through, bit sad. How ever im going to be looking for another pup not particulaly bothered about breed or sex of a pup but will have my eyes open for a litter from tryed and tested parents Quote Link to post

sallie 67
Anyone who breeds a litter of pups is always at risk of losing one for one reason or another, maybe have your eye on the litter but wait until they are 6 - weeks old or older. Its quite hard to see how they are going to turn out as they change so rapidly and if they make it through to 6 weeks old then its pretty much a bet they will be ok. Good luck next time. 2 Quote Link to post
skycat 6,174
I would not like to pick a pup before it is at least 6 weeks old. If the breeder insists that people pick their pups before then, walk away. Quote Link to post
