UK springer championships 2012

Recommended Posts

I'd be interested in something like this but as I understand it some of the shots must be taken prone. I can't shoot properly from that position because of an old shoulder and neck injury (stupid motorbike!!) I can only shoot standing or seated. How would this fit in, if at all?

hi Andy

i can find out for you

Thanks, Davy. I'd appreciate that.

Same here, if anybody lives close to lea valley then get yourselves down to what is the nicest, best set out and friendly club I've had the pleasure to shoot at.   Cheers, wurz

I agree with si here, not the bit about me lol but about simon's shooting skills. I think you should defo enter next year mate, you would definitely raise some eyebrows with your skills mate! Wouldn'

Sounds good davy, everyone seemsto be springer crazy at the minute!   ATB   Adam

I'm going and will be entering in the .22 class.

Thats everyone else LOST then ...........

I wish buddy.

With the standard of spring piston shooters going I would be happy to come in the first 25 places pal.

I will be happy if I score between 45 and 50 points, any more and it will be a bonus.

I struggled a few weeks ago when shooting HFT with Davy and found with the .22 1/4 of a mildot means the difference between a clean knock down or a plate and even on a 40mm KZ at the longer distances.

Your range estimation skills need to be really good and within 2 or 3 yards at all ranges and mine sadly are not without a LRF.

Fingers crossed though i will not make myself look a plonker and it should be a good learning experience and laugh.

Si.

Andy, theres normally one or two pegs where you must take a shot from in a certain position buti think you can pick your own firing position at most of the pegs.I should imagine that if you explained your predicament you'd be ok, but if not, it shouldn't stop you from being able to do the comp and have a giggle worth us lot, you just might not be able score officially?

cheers, wurz
