Jamie m 668
You hear this tosh on hear from time to time , well perhaps their wild cousins , but the domesticated working ferret nope , if you could of seen the big fella last night when I put him back in with the group , now he's out of season leaping around like a twelve week old kit absolutely full of joy tearing around playfully attacking the new recruits much to the discust of the older jills : ) ,far from solitary , you see this solidarity in the wild ones is nearly survival much easier in the long winter to feed ones mouth than it would to share with a family group, only reason I can see that they are solitary , 1 Quote Link to post
Malt 379
I bred a litter about 4 or 5 years ago, it was great watching the young ones swarm all over the big daft hob when I put him back in! I find puting a hob back in with the Jill's always seems to give them all a lift. They always seem to be more playful and contented. Quote Link to post

joe14 98
I hate to see ferrets on their own. Unless they are ferrets who dont get on with other ferrets at all. Dan outdoors, You can put them all back in together when all your ferrets are out of season. Meanig when the jill vulva isnt swollen and when the hobs balls are not visble. Quote Link to post
stroller 341
Ive just put my hob trevor back in with the girls and he was delighted bouncing all over, plus he has a favourite jill called eileen who he was especially delighted to see. The ferret is one of the most sociable animals and on their own they become morose creatures. (3 x kits free to a good home pm me for details) Quote Link to post
