Ferret mad Dave 65 Posted August 17, 2012 Report Share Posted August 17, 2012 I was working at a saluter house today and I managed too get some lambs liver well I got it home sliced it up and put some in with the first batch of ferret and they started too pick it up but when dropped it we had this for about 20 min so I popped some in with the other ones and same again they looked at it pick it up and drop it so I fort I would give it too the dog but he also picked it up and dropped it again and just looked at it as if too say what the f is that and he will eat anything you give him I know the lamb was fit and well as I saw it go into the line and get prosesed has any one else had this just seems funny nowt will touch it and I'm buggered if I'm trying it I hate the stuff Atb Dave Quote Link to post

countrylad2 2 Posted August 18, 2012 Report Share Posted August 18, 2012 what i found is if you chop it to the size of a ice cube and put down about 3 or 4 slices each then they will run backwards and forwarsds to the plate and storring it as much as the could so they could eat it when they wanted to my jill found a little shelf on the side of the cage and stacked it up there so the hob couldnt get it off of her just thought i would say as i have feed them on it a couple times but i would defo say they prefer lamb heart Quote Link to post
