Funnily enough it is only a minor ailment to the cottontails over there. Interestingly, I've never opened up a juvenile rabbit that didn't have spots on it's liver- I always assumed it was a developmental thing rather than pathogenic. Quote Link to post

martin 332 Posted August 19, 2012 Author Report Share Posted August 19, 2012 Coccidioisis is nothing to do with Mixy,and neither is it Fluke which is spread by small snails that have a parasitic host,all of these maladies have no bearing on the edibility of the meat,not even Mixy,although I have to say i wouldn't fancy eating a badly Mixied Rabbit,but that is a personal thing only.
