LAMPER 0
I reckon its been 4 to 5 weeks since i came across this kestrel nest... well i thought id return today and just check how things were getting on. It was nice to see that all 5 eggs had hatched and the chicks looked it top condition. Lamper.

LAMPER 0
" Came across " ! What, ye just happened to be half way up this huge Horse Chestnut when, lo and behold ..... Guest Ditch_Shitter
Who they belong to? Buggered if I'd know, mate! JD's the Egg Man round here. I'm just a very casual observer. I Do know though that they're niether Moorhen nor Coot. I remember that much from my youth. Not Divers either ~ or ye'd have more sense than to show them here! Ducks tend not to lay such white eggs, as a rule ..... Not Black Headed Gull. Not a Wader. Elimination leads me to suspect Grebe. Dabchick's are said to cover the eggs when they go somewhere ..... Never Great Crested?!
