laad 10
Yesterday for the fifth time this year I had to leave a ferret in a burrow overnight, I've got it back each time alright but it's a pain in the hole and I'm sick of having to do it. So I've decided to invest in a ferret finder, I wouldn't mind spending €200 on a new one once it wouldn't depreciate by too much, could anyone tell me what the make secondhand Also could anyone tell me what strength the nylon in a longnet would want to be? Thanks lads Quote Link to post

Thanks lads well hello and to answer your random questions 1) you can pick up a deben mk1 8ft for about £ 2) a longnet is ment to catch and hold, if you read up on nets most people say 4oz nets catch on everything so that would be my choice although 6 and 10oz are popular Quote Link to post

Guest vin
dont buy 4oz Nets..they are a waste of time..too thin..snag on every little twig or bit of cover. I like 10oz nice and strong. Quote Link to post
muddy210 34
longnets tend to be 4z 0r 6 z not 10 z helps them wrap up the rabbits easier Quote Link to post
The one 8,618
Better checking out ebay mate but mk1 locators are still making good money ,so check out mk3 or mk3m and if you need just but one collar and add another later . A 4z longnet will pick up all the crap going so you might want to look at a 6z net Quote Link to post
BenjaminCadd 109
Go for a 6oz long net, 4oz is a pain and catches everything but a 10oz will not tangle the rabbit up and wrap around it enough, MK1 Locators are not much Cheaper than MK3 on Ebay but if you buy new you will have the warrenty which some people have used time and time agin!. kinderbeano 13
agree with the lads above.4z is a waist of time in any net in my opinion.6z and up,snag less and are alot easier to remove rabbits from. Quote Link to post
Guest vin
6oz longnets. 10oz purse nets. Quote Link to post
