pete123 45
Or not as the case may be, just put in for my fac air he came round and was a total gent fine with my cabinet/ammo safe( put in ammo safe for future intentions of applying for .22lr) I was under impression that it would be a few years yet! Although he looked at my land and wrote it down on my application and said he will recommend I should get both! So for all others worrying about their visit DON'T! Just the dreaded wait to see the answer! Quote Link to post
lapin2008 1,587
All the dealings I have had with them they have been spot on, very pro shooting and generally really nice. I think people build the visits up to be much worse then they are Quote Link to post

tegater 789
I have always found that they will offer the best advice, and as the OP says, they will sometimes even give you things you didnt originally ask for, because ultimatly it saves them time at a later date, and saves you money. Same here, I applied for shot gun 1st, and when he came around to see me I explained I planned to get rifle in a few years time. He said just go for them at the same time and save myself some ££. He's since been back for re-newall and he's always been very approachable. Quote Link to post
pete123 45
I think it's just the not knowing that puts people off, They are a credit to the sport and i can honestly say even if I was knocked back for any reason I would not feel put out as they have been very helpfull all the way through sent a few emails regarding cabinet locations and references always got a fast phone call back from some very polite people!
