BSA barrel

Hi,

I have a BSA R10 and looking for a 16.5" .22 barrel for it as it has a ultra barrel at the mo and I want to up grade the power and put it on my fac, if anyone has one please let me know. Thanks

Why not just have the power put up with the same barrel on mate?

Longer barrels work better on FAC Air Adam bud

that's Why most of the FAC Rapid lads go for 19 - 22 inch barrels on average,

better accuracy and shot count.

Especially in .22 and Bigboy cal .25.

Its a job for an RFD ONLY . You can put one on , and you can up the power if you want to BUT ..........

 

If its going on a ticket , it MUST be done by an RFD , and can NEVER be put back down .

Ahh didnt know that, Cheers daz will remember that when i get my fac and have my .22 turned back up (when it was sold to me it was at a naughty number)

Cheers for the replies, I had it over with the local gun shop and they said a longer barrel is better like Daz said better accuracy, but they want £70 for a barrel and £20 postage so I thought I might see if anyone has a s/h standard one on here then I can fit it and take it down the shop and they can do the rest and put it on my fac

Yes it will fit I think. Daz the big boy cal .25 as u say is lethal lol saw a vid of a rapid .25 40ft lb and he took heart n lung shot on a squirrel, it tore his insides out the exit hole lol

Yes mate, some of the early Mk 1 R-10's were fitted with the Ultra barrel, some people prefer to fit these rather than having the original one cut and re threaded.
