Has she been eating hard bones: leg bones, large knuckle bones? May be a bit of bone got stuck and undigested and she can't pass it. If you can, try and syringe some vegetable oil up her rectum: this will help to lubricate anything that is stuck there. If you can't, and the dog is still not right tomorrow morning then you'll have to go to the vet. If a sharp piece of bone gets stuck in the rectum it can cause a lot of damage and will need to be removed under GA.

Don't ever feed cooked bones or large weight bearing bones as these are sometimes too hard to digest. Another problem can arise if the dog is chewing wood, and if accidently swallowed, can cause a blockage. Kids toys are often swallowed as well.

Get down the chemist first thing in the morning and and buy some liquid parrafine it costs about £2 give the dog a good table spoon down its throat ... The dog should pass whatever is bothering it in a hour two after ..... If this goes on until tomorrow afternoon then get down the vets .............
