billybaltic 308
I am putting new mono on 3 of my reel's, 1 is for lure fishing and 2 are for pike/carp fishing, i usually use fox soft steel, but i am not 100% happy with it, what do you use and why. Quote Link to post
bobcullen79 1,495
Couldnt say why I use it, probably cos its not let me down yet, but, I use GT80 from Gardener, in 12lb. I can put a 4oz lead 100 yards and that does me. If I fished gravel pits, with loads of bars, more often, I`d step it up to 15lb I spose for a bit more umph. I think the type and size of reel your putting it on also dictates what line you can get away with. Quote Link to post
