bird 10,014
at this time of year, they are clipping there sheep, and if you live nearby a sheep farmer, talk with him about stock breaking your young dog of course on a long lead, 20/30 ft you have him under controll at all times, in and through the Pens, if he is really bad the old Tupps will sort him out, take the fire out of your dog before you go through the Pens, and walk him up and down its very simple, I believe a couple of good lessons, and he will know, they are not to be touched, and over the month, do not give him the opportunity, to chase stock, always be in command of him, I am sure you will have a positive results, good luck with the exercise, spot on , thats what ive done with mine get them on long rope 1st, and walk them by the sheep if they show to much interest quick pull on lead ,soon lets them no . From pups get the word (leave) in there heads, because they got to know the word as much as rope .! i think the probs come more when the pup no they got feet , and they love to run round like feckin nutters lol , thats when any stock sheep, chucks, cattle as a good old chase game . As above you got to really keep on top of them, and never trust them 95%. Bryn brill with sheep, never looks at them, but there just dogs and even a small yorkie would still (want to) grab one  Quote Link to post
