Cheers lads!

Teagater, Barafundle is stunning and well worth the walk. Did you manage to get any fishing done anywhere? At certain times of the year on the lowest tides, remnants of an ancient petrified forest can be found at Amroth. I love the natural history of this coastline, it has got a bit of everything.

No unfortunatly we didnt get any fishing done for various reasons, but we saw plenty of young lads and dads in tenby with strings of mackeral, so there must be plenty about.

Thanks for the comments! :notworthy:

I don't know about needing a decent camera: those look pretty good to me: those rock formations are superb, you can just imagine the forces which pushed the rock layers into those shapes.

It amazes me. There are some really spectacular formations about the coast here, I'll try and get a few more soon.

The western end of the south Wales coal field cuts through the middle of the county, and gets purer and purer as it stretches west. It's been said that Pembrokeshire anthracite is one of the highest qualities ever discovered, and theres lots of it. You can see from those rocks what the problem is in getting at it though, it's never been financially viable to mine it in great quantities..
