boyo 1,398
been to a few last few weeks to have a nose and decided to do one so today i did my first and defo last ever one .me and the mrs had a big sort out filled the car and got there nice and early ,before getting out of the car was mobbed and swarmed over by the regular booties.sold a load at giveaway prices mostly a pound and they still wanted it cheaper in fact loads wanted 2 things for a pound .lol. now ive been a car salesman for most of my working life and love a haggle but haggling over something that cost a pound and was in some cases over fifty quid new is taking the piss.,as i said never again .
Ratreeper 441
I find it hilarious listening to some people, especially when they are haggling over 50p then the seller says no, so they dramatically put it back and walk off in a strop. I love a bootsale, bought two bags of large ball bearings for my slingshot for £1, infinitely cheaper than anywhere else. I would sell stuff if I had anything to sell, I don't have much to my name nevermind spare clutter
