Carraghs Gem 1,699
My ideal lurcher... Capable of taking all edible quarry day or night, maybe not large quantitys or a worldbeater but enough to fill pot, some brains but not too much, excellent recall and an off switch. And if I was to add looks into it hairy and brindle deerhound based bitza with bit of everything in mix Quote Link to post
paulus 26
if perfection was achievable we would all have the same dogs , to strive for perfection is the aim, to achieve the unachivable, is the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow 2 Quote Link to post

RossM 8,149
There is too many factors to take into consideration, how would you class style in perfection? Your dog has the perfect style but the ratio could be better? Or your dog has an unorthodox style, you don't really like it but it works flawlessly? Too many factors in perfection, as lab says what ma be perfection for some will have flaws for others. Quote Link to post
morton 5,369
Well to me my mutt is perfection itself, thus far in its short 22 month lifetime it as progressed to an acceptable level,it as met all i have asked of her and even surpassed some of my expectations, its training and entering went along with only the occasional hitch, she tries her level best and thus far as never given cause for disappointment, she carries all the attributes from her parentage that i seek in a jukel.I don,t overface her and never push her to her limits, she will do me for the next few years or more and will meet all my requirements in the field, what more could i wish,or ask for?,even though i may be easily pleased. 1 Quote Link to post
