The point I was making is that the fella is going to be teaching sniper skills and he doesn't even understand the basics ..... Its wood but its a very good model of a real gun if i say so myself. the only real bit is the scope and mounts. I was a Sargent and even I never claimed to be the best or to know everything. My view is you probably left a while ago, please remember that TTP's and SOP's are constantly evolving, maybe we were taught differently however I don't believe the basics ever change Edited to add - a lot of squaddies aren't good spellers, and I make mistakes constantly on here and else where so no need to rip the man and question him... Its all as it is, a simple question.lol :-) My only problem with you mate, is claiming to be 20 years in the services, and bailing out two years early, just does not make sense to me, and as for the business, it sounds like your touting for customers, no other posts, just mentioning your stall at fairs, its a bit of an insult to the lads that know their stuff on THL, and some of the lads your trying to teach to suck eggs to on hear can see through you, your not the first, and you won't be the last, but good luck on your venture anyway, and you can have as big a wooden gun as you like as the law stands, because its only wood Link to post Share on other sites

Wow you must know me well your right I only made full screw and never did an operational tour in my life lol I have never a been a sniper or a section 2ic or a section commander or a plt sergeant or colour man etc etc etc I have never been in an operational environment never been under contact intact I have never done f**k all your right .... However if your big new buddy had just done 20 years in the army and got out 2 years short of a full pension then he would have done efp 1 which means that if his basic spelling wasn't up to scratch then he wouldn't have been promoted to the rank of SERGEANT and I think being able to spell the rank you are aspiring to reach would be classed as basic spelling don't you ???????? 1 Link to post Share on other sites

I wasnt teaching anyone to suck eggs, I responded to your post of the 5Ss, just gave my opinion. I mentioned a stand, not at fairs. you add stuff that havnt been said. say what you like. i would post a pic of me in uniform outside the sniper training wing but im sure you would say its not me. so i wont bother wasting my time.
