saluki dogs and lines whats the truth

HI to all, ive been asking about re saluki blooded dogs and read a few posts, to be honest dont know a jot regards dogs and lines but what i have noticed is there's alot of conflict between owners

ive heard lucas mentioned, khan jihad, merlin eve, ect ect talk to one man dogs ok, talk to another its a pot licker

Ive watch a few matches on video and would of thought that its plain to see witch is best but i know theres a ban on now and we all dont do it now

 

so my question is if i was looking for a stud dog to put into my lurcher what lines would you look out for

now what im after is somthing with a real laid back nature about 24 inc (dog) and of course able to be a efficiant worker

All off the above dogs have good blood lines. Just pick one and use it. If your after 'best dog in the country' then there is no such thing. But there are lots of good lines and lots of good stud dogs.

moonlighter , i dont think thats a informative respons as i have been told all the for mentioned lines are good but take the luckas dog theres lots of treads on here were people says its good then they argue its not, then the merlin eve stuff people say it was good but they tell me that stuff was so long ago it will be far away from the real dogs, then theres the khan stuff ive been told that dog or its farther was given away as no good , i dont have a opinion because i dont know, i would like some well informed knowlage on the subject.

I would say most of the well known stud dogs are producing, as the lads wouldn't be using them. Obviously some are quite typey, as in some throw fast types, others through stayers, some always throw a wooly coat etc. at the end of the day there are risks of any pup turning out shite, but if you use a tried and tested bloodline you've rolled the dice in your favour.

Titan off here either does or did own khan and im sure he was far from free! Lol! I have a pure sired by khan and he is a cracker. You will always get the jealous monkeys saying bla bla was shit etc cos they themselves aint good enough to even have a wank over the idea of owning a dog half as good. All the lines youve mentioned are well known names and they didnt get that way by being shit. As the saying goes, ya payed yer money ya takes yer chances. And as you said if you use a tried and tested bloodline you've rolled the dice in your favour.

what good is a pure

 

 

Well they are in my opinion a lot better and more versatile than a lurcher. They are a lot faster than a lot of people give them credit for. They can run all day. They are more intellegent than most lurchers. They have prey drive AND prey sense a lion would be proud of.
