If its a show that your wife wants to go to for a walk along the stalls, stop at home. If you want a day out with a lot of other working dog men / women from all over with all sorts of working dogs on display, then you dont want to miss it, really.

 

The stanadard of Hounds on show there is, or has been over the last few years, second to none, alot of the local packs and quite a few from further afield are normally in attendance.

 

If you win Best in show in the hounds, you have got a fine specamin, there's a lot of competition there, as is the terriers, lurchers etc.

 

I'm not trying to big the show up to something its not, i would rather not have put the original post up, it's no great extravaganza of merry go rounds, trade stalls and some f****r sellng plastic windows. But if you think your stock is good, come and have a look at some others who think the same.

Sorry for no reply gents, been away for a few days. Yes i thin kthe rough and smooth were mixed last year, i think you mentioned it then, but i really cant tell you much other than whats on the start of the post, give the number a ring and Tudor will explain all to you. I'm going up fot a nose myself methinks, i may take some worming tablets with me to sell to the whordes ( and whores lol)

 

Not sounding like sunscreen weather, but when did weather ever stop us gents.

So did i mate, i thought numbers were down a bit but there was more than enough dogs there. Hounds i thought were particularly strong this year. Perhaps the threat of bad weather put a few off. Nice to meet you and Bird.

I think you can Rob, if you go to the office in the Elan village i think you can buy a day ticket there. Its not a big show as i have said, but theres some good stuff turns up year after year. I do think though that numbers were down this year.

 

Glad you enjoyed. Did you show in any classes?, what part of mud wales are you from ??

Enjoyed the show too, yes out in the sticks but some nice scenery on the way there and a nice setting to boot. A well run show with some nice ring & raffle prizes, well done to all concerned

a real good show, with some nice lurchers+ terriers there . As trigger said met some nice people, and its in nice place i like it when its back to nature lol , i liked it . Done well with Bryn in the racing, got a 2nd+ 3rd , ive always said he was fast for 1x collie grey lol . Great day would go again to the show Ray
