Great day although long day today at Ballywalter. Fortunate I don't need much sleep as I had to be up at 4.30 to get my dogs out to travel to the site for 6.40. Ground in great condition and the Glenbank Club ran a really tidy exhibition of terrier, whippet and other racing in the main arena. Well Done Matts.

 

Also a big tvote of thanks to everyone who came and made this a fantastic days out for the family. Trade too was nrisk with some very good bargains to be had.

 

Tomorrow arguably the show with the best prizes before Shanes Castle REMEMBER STARTS AT 11.00AM. Hope to spend some time watching the judging and racing and look forward to meeting people from the forum - including those with whom I have had the odd argument!

 

We have cut, rolled , filled and rolled and rolled the lurcher racing course so it is as good as we can get it for what we expect will be some good races. Winners please remember to collect cheques from HQ. Other prizes presented in the ring.
