BEDDY LURCHERS

what are your experiences with this cross, i have heard some good reports but never had one, what would you say the best lines are, and any top dogs spring to mind someone mentioned RAMBO the other day to me but to be fair ment nothing to me can anyone shed some light. my mate has one and its very steady out of the haynes line, are they all this way ?

glover has written a fair bit on the working beddy vols 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 :laugh:

rambo was a bedlington owned by s.staley bred in notts. t.aherne is a knowlegable man to talk to about beddy lurchers.he used to breed collie lurchers 30 odd years ago and owned the much photographed rusty. for the last 15 years or more he has bred beddy lurchers.

tony palmer bred a few good ones aswell if i could get this scanner to work i could stick some pictures up :censored:

Paulus . . . Did he ever work his dog's ? ? I know he had a fair bit of success with them in the showring, but did he do much in the field with the same dog's ?

ive had a dog with t earns rusty in it, was in the david james lurcher i had, the lad i spoke to mentioned this man i must admit the dog i saw had more about it than the hayes dog larger and more well built is t earn on here would be nice to have a chat

what would you say there working style is, do they work for you or for them selfs my mates is very obedient and willing to please, the rambo dog mentioned what was that famed for another dog that springs to mind is g oscas spud but never heard of them being any more of rabbit dogs
