The Great Game Fairs of Ireland host a beauty contest with a difference :

 

In association with the Sunday Life Newspaper - Ni's main Sunday newspaper, the Great Game Fairs of Ireland are searching for 'Miss Countrylifestyle 2012'.

We are not looking for more fresh faced than 'fake tan' and someone who enjoys country living, animals and a passion for the great outdoors.

Entry details for the competition are in this weekend's and next week's paper and entries close on the 30th April.

Prizes include £500 worth of Barbour Vouchers from Smyths of Coleraine; two pairs of Hunter boots; £300 worth of vouchers for Alan Espey of Newtonards clothing store;and a weekend at the Irish Game & Country Fair with DB&B at the 5star County Arms Hotel. the winner will be part of the PR campaign for the Fairs at Shanes Castle and Birr Castle and have a presentational role in the Dog & Country Tv programme being made about the fairs. Finalists will be selected at the Ballywalter Game & Country Living Fair on Saturday 5th May see www.ballywaltergamefair.com

Now you are way too modest - I am sure you would scrub up really well! AND wouldn't it be a great bit of publicity for the terrier & lurcher fraternity to have a finalist who works their dogs!!!!
