Kc registrations arnt worth the paper they're written on. Why does it need to be recognised by the kennel club? What benefits will that bring?

What benefits will that bring? well im pretty sure its to get a working standard within the breed after all theres nothing worse than having different "types" of patterdales in the hands of people who just want to use them for work. if we can KC reg them and get them bread true to type then it will only benefit the breed imo. plus then there will be no need to breed a patterdale to a different coloured dog just because it works well and has done for a few seasons, as there will be a stud book available of all the top patterdales winning top shows on a regular basis!!! you only have to look at KC reg lakelands to see how its tidyed the breed up
