Holy shit, just seen biggest shootin star/comet ever!

if you read the eye witness reports it was a very strange meteor it changed direction, colour and what about the bang that was herd :hmm:

 

Well, it was a bigun, that alone makes everything else seem "odd" to lots of people, who then look for "things" i'm no expert, but i'll throw a few ideas out there, it changed colour as it came through the atmosphere, and burnt up more/less oxygen, the bang could of been sound barrier booms?

 

but the thing that most makes me think it was just a big meteor is all the proper outdoors folk on here that actually saw it, and say is was a big meteor ?

a meteor travels at 1062 miles per minute a sonic boom occurs at aprox 761mph the speed of sound :hmm:

Saying that when you fire a bullet, it's already broken the speed of sound by the time it leaves the barrel, yet if it passed you 1 mile further you'd still hear a crack, followed by the thump of the gun a few seconds later.
