out this morning.

Recommended Posts

I went out with the young lad this morning,we had a ''different'' :D kind of day.I got a tiny little jill from a friend during the week, she is minute.I thought she was too small to do anything so I decided to try her out and see if she was worth keeping. My son and I went to a steep hill with lots of ground burrows, full of bunnys.I ran her in the 1st burrow and after a period of time 2 large rabbits hit the nets. The next set we had 1 large rabbit and 3 babies which we safetly put in seperate burrows to grow big and prosper,as Schwartsanager once said ''We'll be back'' Then In the next burrow we got 3 adults and 2 more babies, this little ferret was doing well.1 adult was a strange color, predominantly black with the common brown colors speckled here and there amongst its fur. Then in the next burrow I had to dig,I was more than surprised that a tiny little ferret could keep any rabbit in a stop end.Killing one didnt enter my head.Well I had a simple dig of 2 ft and I couldnt locate the ferret, groping around in the dirt what did I find? Her fecking collar,it was 35 minutes later that she reappeared with her head well skinned.I am well pleased with my new charge and we ended up with 9 big bunnys and 1 small dead one(ferret kill)We released 5 more little uns and my son had a great day,the black one really made his day, heres a pic of a few of the bag.

that black one is pretty unusual, i've only ever seen domestic ones coloured like that. :hmm:

and what are you doing making the poor lad stand in the sun like that to have his pic taken? my mum used to do that to me - half the pics of me as a kid, i'm squinting like i've just been sprayed with CS
