gnipper 6,926
If you want him castrating get him done, theres no reason why he'd have to get his end away first. Quote Link to post

Rake aboot 4,936
get him snipped, Theres plenty will supply you with kits from good working stock when you need it, I`ve only had to breed a couple of times in 20 odd yrs, so don`t go planning something that might not happen,, better with a good snipped Hob, worth their weight in gold. Country Joe 1,411
Annette, I just got my hob snipped last Friday, he was done at 12 noon, and when i went to pick him up at 4.30pm he was well groggy, the vet advised i pick him up at 7pm, which i did and keep him in the house overnight, in case he caught a chill. the next morning he was fine, and went out into the Hutch, on his own, I will keep him isolated for a week, then as the Jill is not in season i will move her back with him. I will watch for any signs of her coming in, then remove her, as my Vet checked and said its recomended six weeks after the operation, he can be used on in season Jills. Hope this makes sense, and has been a help. He was a last year kit, and had never mated, it makes no difference. Quote Link to post
