Deben wanting a receipt.

Ive just been in touch with deben to fix my MK3M Box, and they have said that without the receipt I have to pay a 35 quid charge AT LEAST for them to look at it.

 

Any advice as its brandnew, but bought second hand, and I dont have the receipt.

If you know the guy you bought it from, he can take it back to the shop without the reciept, remember, the contact of sale is with the shop,,not Deben,, it`s the shops responsibility to repare or replace it,, not debens.

It was off someone on here, just dontknow who, all i know he was from Blyth.

I was just gonna sell it, and checked and its not working.

so back to the old grey for me. and down a few quid.

Aye your right but its a con Deben's the only one making them they will know by the serial numbers etc how old it is , They have us by the balls and its just a case of greed

They have done this 3 times now, i got t standards in once, they sent it back saying the measurement are only a guide, and 3 and a half foot out is normal.

 

Well to me that 3 and a half foot is the risk of loosing dog or ferret.

Thats the problem with buying such goods second hand, especially expensive bits of kit like the mark 3,

I was considering buying second hand of here, or ebay, but decided if anything went wrong with the reciever or collar, i would be stuffed, so i purchased new, costs more, but in the long run less hassle if things go wrong,

Its different with the old Mark 1 as Deben wont even fix them, which i think is bad crack,

But you have at least, Lads like mick Dadd who will fix and service them, I have not heard of anyone bar Deben that will fix the Mark 3.

Is there anyone out there?
