curly tailed bedllingtons

A lad I know just been to my house to Ask if bedllingtons have curly tails, he has just bought an 8 week old pup from a guy in stafford he had seen on pre loved for sale, he was told it was pure bedllington, I have not seen the dog yet becouse its not had its jabs, he says the tail curls like a pug,I myself have never seen it

never seen it in a Beddy or Beddyx,could it be an breeding abnormality that crops up from time to time in all dogs,or something in the mix of the true breeding?.

He phoned the guy after leaveing house, and he was told it was normal in his beddies.

There doesn't have to be an outcross for it to happen, I've seen it in a line of Staffords with no outcross.

 

It's just a slightly different spinal conformation, it is just as likely to arise through inbreeding dogs as it is to occur through outcrossing.
