oldred58 340 Posted February 10, 2012 Report Share Posted February 10, 2012 A lad I know just been to my house to Ask if bedllingtons have curly tails, he has just bought an 8 week old pup from a guy in stafford he had seen on pre loved for sale, he was told it was pure bedllington, I have not seen the dog yet becouse its not had its jabs, he says the tail curls like a pug,I myself have never seen it Quote Link to post

hogdog 61 Posted February 11, 2012 Report Share Posted February 11, 2012 There doesn't have to be an outcross for it to happen, I've seen it in a line of Staffords with no outcross. It's just a slightly different spinal conformation, it is just as likely to arise through inbreeding dogs as it is to occur through outcrossing. Quote Link to post
