wabbit slayer 16
Must say Im a local and have attended in the past but the cost of entry does put me off, infact fair's in general are getting out of hand. Around £5 would be ok for what you get at Selby, Its not just the weather that can make it a good day for all! it feels shit to turn up to a fair or event to find that you can count everyone on one hand, Its the old saying the more the merrier. Some people aint got loads of spare cash to spare on things like this so like me rather than take the family along and spend around £45 on entry for the three I will go on my own and only spend around £15 for entry. (Not to mention what it would also cost you on food, rides etc) If events were to reduce the price of entry per person or charge per car they may get more families attending who in turn will spend more at the fair and surrounding area. I think if Selby game fair is going to charge any more than £5/£7 it should change its name to Selby Not So Fair Fair.

The best thing SGF could do is give everyone at least £5 to spend and free entry and by the way I STILL WOULD NT BE GOING Y.I.S Leeview
3175darren 1,102
If you think about it a league table would give the poorer shows an incentive to try, or a measure to aspire to, or even the very small good shows may see a crowd increase helping them drive profit, we all could benefit from it,
