francolin 449 Posted January 31, 2012 Report Share Posted January 31, 2012 been at a loose end for past two days,so cleaned double breeders and set them up on a frame around shed walls the lowest cages are 3 foot of the shed floor to hopefully save me bending as much,seems alot better for cleaning ect,birds are in cages at mo,one to each double breeder ,two perches ,one each end so a good flight from one to the other,the cocks are singing well so its so far so good Quote Link to post Share on other sites

wild rover 548 Posted February 2, 2012 Report Share Posted February 2, 2012 A fine cross section fireman, first year im sticking to fifes, got 6 pais now hahah, varigated, whites, buffs and self greens, clear yellows a good mix, just split them up after getting used to each other, you were right the sofas gone and a bank of cages replaced it ha, nesting gear bought, cant wait now, hope we are succesful. Beware mate,it's creeping bigger and when summer comes and you think that bit of garden thats not really being used would make a nice little aviary for the birds to be flying around in and singing for the world to hear,it's to late it's got you so just go with it :laugh: and good luck with the breeding.
