Could do prize for winner and trophy dog gets good name for breeding sake and every 1 gets a few nights out. No plans yet just wanting to see how many people would be interested and where in the country ?? may not work but worth a try as hunting seems dead now !!!! Quote Link to post

Romany 1,065 Posted January 28, 2012 Report Share Posted January 28, 2012 We ran a few of these when the Northumberland and Durham working lurcher club was going..went well at first, then arguments started, as usual.... heats were ran, 5 rabbits each dog, each dog took turns to run a rabbit, the dog that had the most rabbits after this was the winner, in the event of a tie, it went to sudden death. Semi finals it went to 10 rabbits, as did the final. Each competitor had to have land to run the competition on Ws initially a great idea, and good fun.. Quote Link to post
