When buying them second hand, be carefull, make sure the magnetic field is working, a mate of mine sold one to a old drug addict down in Cornwall and it was fooked she thought she'd got a bargain for £

If you buy second hand mag box..turn it upto number 6 and place a small magnet in side..the magnet should rattle about all over if it is working good..if you dont have a little magnet hold the smallest one you can find gently in your finger's and you should feel it vibrating..here the magnet i use to test my mag box...it's the little silver thing on a penny.
