I have used the traplines and have caught moles with them, you just have to have so many of them that the cost of the traps is rediculous! where you normally only use 3 duffas or talpex traps per mole duffas at £1.75 from primrose london! or 6 traplines at bloody £7 each!! Also traplines get lost so easy as you can't find them again or taken by scavengers. Then you have the problem of getting in massive tangles with the strings used to stop the mole stealing the traps! All in all the Talpex is my trap of choice now. As mentioned before you can cover with soil to make it look like a mole hill and they are a very effective trap! I buy all my Talpex traps from Killgerm!

i don't poison anything mate i think it's disgusting

Same here but how many farmers mention the stuff when you speak to them,it seems alot of people used poisen for moles, when it was banned they gave up controling moles,I have the gear to use talunex gas ,which I did for a farmer, who had retired but still owned the land, he said it was cruel to use traps, but havnt used it for ages I do prefer traps alot more skill involved,

glad to hear it bit off topic but i remember a old local chap who used to fish with wasp grub cake as we call it (bit hard to get hold of now)

but he bought a load of a pest controller who'd poisoned the wasps and ended up poisoning a load of his fish in his mill pond with it poor chap wasn't happy.
