Recommended Posts

well went onto my mates farm on sunday to try out my new air arms s410 carbine in 177 using the aa fields, well got to one of the barns and there was 5 aw 6 pidgeons on one of the rafters, got one into my sights and TWACK dropped stone dead. first kill with my aa so she aint a virgin no more :) but as i shot that one the rest just flew out, lucky escape. same happend in the next barn with the other pidgeon. looked outer one of the peep holes and seen this corvid about 40 yards in the tree, placed the sight half mildot holdover and twack another head shot. upon walking up the fields had a peep over one of the edges and there was a rabbet about 15 meters away. and i dont know what the hell happened i missed i was kicking my self all day after that, never mind was a good day i enjoyed and looking forward for abit of lamping on friday then down to a new bit of permission i aint tried yet saturday aw sunday to see what i can bag,

happy hunting :)

I Miss the close ones as well :icon_redface:, Missed a Rabbit due to poor Close range guessing thought it was 12 yards when in fact 8 yards :whistling:, Straight over top of His head !!!!!!!

Oh well we live and learn.

atvb Daz.

i find it easier at that sort of range to turn the rifle around and club the fekker to death, saves on the expense of pellets... :diablo:

cheers, wurz
