mintstick999 485
I bet this guy is shitting himself. not good for the breed i'm sure. http://uk.yahoo.com/ A man was arrested on Sunday after a dog attacked a six-year-old girl in north-east London, biting off part of her ear. Scotland Yard said officers had arrested a 56-year-old man on suspicion of allowing a dog to be dangerously out of control in a public place. The girl had to undergo surgery after suffering serious injuries in the incident at a park in Chingford, Essex on Saturday. Police have seized the dog and are holding the owner in custody. The arrest was made when the man walked into Chingford police station. The girl was at Pole Hill with her parents and younger brother when the attack happened at around 12:00 GMT. She also suffered injuries to her neck and shoulder and was taken to an Essex hospital where she is said to be in a "comfortable condition". Metropolitan Police had earlier said they were looking for the dog -- thought to be a black and white bull terrier-type -- and its owner, who had disappeared from the scene by the time officers arrived. Detective Sergeant Stuart Cheek, of Waltham Forest police, said the "appalling incident" had left the girl with serious injuries that could scar her for life. Is that easier to read. mintstick999 485
Personally i think more parents should teach their children how to act when around dogs, i've seen kids in the past that stand and scream like bloody idiots when the most placid of animals have come up to them,.. (especially the darker types) Children that is not dogs. I'm not saying that the owner of the dog isn't at fault, but some kids, and adults certainly need to be taught how to react when they come across Joe Blogs walking their dog in the park or where ever it may be...just my opinion on the incident.. Nik_B 3,791
Not just kids either, I am still struggling with my dog being nervous in certain places thanks to some twat that tried to stroke him when he didn't see them coming. That happened a year ago! People treat dogs like a play thing and have no sense, they think they've a god given right to approach your dog without asking. My daughter was taught from an early age to always ask first , and I showed her the right way to approach a dog. One of our neighbours has kids that total freak out near Ollie, screaming and fussing...the mum wasn't much better. Generally I keep him away from them. Still the one group of people I dislike most is 'park dog owners' f**king retards with their basket case dogs that run around completely out of control. They should be able to recall their dog and if not then don't let the f**ker off the lead.
