blacknight 111 Posted January 19, 2012 Author Report Share Posted January 19, 2012 Thought a good terrier was bred to bate or make it bolt if not stay without getting his face riped off. a bloke i no works a fox terrier bitch and by all accounts shes a very good bitch, will works rates fox and more, i just wondered if any one else worked them as i don't see or hear of many fox terrier being worked guess no one dose any more. thanks for the replies. old school 581 Posted January 19, 2012 Report Share Posted January 19, 2012 fox terriers, according to the books were bred only to nip and tease a fox into bolting!! the smooth fox terrier were sometimes disliked because at that time they were influenced alot by bull blood making them too hard and of little use to the hunt!! myself, well, i wouldnt waste time feeding that sorta dog but as far as i can gather from material its the style fox terriers were supposed to have!!
