Recommended Posts

i didnt put this in the terrier section as really its the pet ones im on about

why is there such a gap in looks in the breed

and where the hell does the bow legged long back comes from

i just had one yapp at me it had the markings of a plummer, the head of a snipey russell, yet the torso looked like a lancashire heelers body.

an why is it that the owners are either old women or gay looking men :hmm:

Maybe because they are, as you say, diverse, a 'type' rather than a breed........not like the 'Parson Russell Terrier' with a breed standard dictated by the Kennel Club? Most of the ones I have come across seem to be healthy, hardy and long lived.

Because as the price went up most chancers with a bitch thought i can make some easy money here and weren't to fussy what the sire was , im talking about the chancers selling them as pets as well .The confirmation of the working russells has improved a lot

I've see diversity within a single litter, the litter I got mine from was a mixture of parson and short legged types. If you saw mine next to her little mate that my mate's mother owns as a pet, you'd never guess they were from the same litter at first glance.
