coneykenny 98 Posted January 7, 2012 Report Share Posted January 7, 2012 hi guys,my lurcher pup is an eight month old collie/hound x bull/hound.shes doing great on the retrieve and recall,problem is when im out in the field she,ll stay right beside me or behind me.i want her to show some more interest in whats out there .a wee bit frustrating!any suggestions are welcome. The dog is to young to be showing any real inclination to hunt on its own initiative,as it matures and becomes more confident the hunting instinct will take over,taking it out with an experienced dog to follow will help it along.
