Bull X Temperament

Recommended Posts

Why you so interested, why all the questions? Are you planning on getting one? do you own running dogs? What do you want to know that already hasnt been said? Have you ever worked a dog to its full potential?

Joball do I sound like I no about dogs' read my posts ? Do you own 1 ?

Do you no what a good APBT is ? Or a grey hound ? Have you ever stroked a decent dog ?

Can you bring any think to the table ? I'm not asking about Charlie or pigs so what dose it matter what I own or ask about ?

I do no one thing I bet it's a very small percentage on here who have proper bull blood in a X and I'm after info of them people are you one of them people ? And as far as discussing things that have all ready been said every thread and comment on here as all ready been said ! but it's a forum people come and go and new people pop up with new information and people who love dogs don't mind repeating them selfs if it means others learn from it !

And yes I'm looking at 2 well bred track bitchs that's costing me a few quid there not old there not free there not retired threw injury there in there prime I no what I'm looking for in a dog do you ? Then 1 will be put to the best dog A proven dog with a pedigree a proper bull & with that I hope to give them to a few good friends for free to work with them and see what results they get and then take the best male and breed it back to the Other bitch so they will be 3/4 grey 1/4 bull with all the blood being traceable on both sides because joballs I like quality dogs that's all I've ever had and all I've ever parted with and yes I've owned running dogs but there not my passion bulls are and I love greyhounds because of the purity of the breed the speed the tanacity the focus the structure 'them and pit bulls are 2 amazing animals that I beleave if you put the wright 2 together and you get all the wright qualitys you got a DOG mate so that's why I'm asking to see what traits you get from the cross and what experience people who no the x can say about there xs ! I hope that answers your question jo⚽

In my opinion when the ban came in on all the dangerous dogs, the big downside to that was that instead of the bull breeds being kept by (mostly) reputable dog men that bred for a purpose, didn't tole

mines a right dope hes laid back great companion well behaved ,obediant and suprising for me great with little dogs they are however well in my dogs case very sensitive he likes to please mines not th

Its the way you bring them up mate as long as you socialise with other dogs & people you won't have a problem its down the owner how you bring your dogs up,how its trained & worked atb cbx

wasan't there a few known man biters that were still used for breeding ch.chinaman? I might be wrong I usally am.

Unfortunatly yes there has been zebo was one of the best dogs in the history APBT and he had a few people

I think the most well named man biter I can think of that's had the ass bred out of it is mr INDIAN ROM every picture he has a muzzle on and so dose most of his off spring good look with them I tel ya ?

Sorry if i upset you with questions lol now you know how we feel. Anyway have have spoke to you on the phone few years back you came accros as a know it all, and all you sid is go on about how your bulls the real deal bla bla. What's a proper bull? Look at the book dead game all types in there, end of the day pb are a type not a standard breed, they come in all different shapes and sizes and all have ddifferent attitudes some layed back some a pain in the arse. So bottom line is there's shite that will get bred and some good stuff and you'll only dind out by trying yourself. And yes i bred my own and im.very if more than happy with him doing what he was bred for, can be abit of a nob but so what I just get on with it and give them the graft instead of talking shite about them.

Why all the questions just get one and find out for yourself if your that interested nothing beats persanol experience after all.

We're discussing the traits of 2 dogs & what you get when they are put together I'm after knowledge from experience hunters cause as you no nothing beats experience ;)

But I think there would be a big diffrence in the quality of the bull x if both sides of the breeding was stable and well bred.

Bootsha you have a good point bit harsh with the crack head shouts haha but I see what your saying and manee dogs are put to sleep in the APBT world they are not ment to be aggressive towards us and people who no the breed and have worked with them no how dangerous that can be.

How many people look for quality on both sides of a 1 st X breeding ?

In EDRD mag theres an ad for a stud dog by DS, The Greyhound is called Price Cut, aka Nobby's Lad, at the end of the add he states, perfectly correctly, "All Greyhounds are not the same", how true he is, and the same can be said for the apbt, they might ALL look the part, as indeed ALL greyhounds do ( if peolple could tell at a glance which is the fastest Greyhound at a meet be it a track or other, thered be a lot of bookies down the job centre), but generations of purpose bred dogs, be they apbt and / or greyhounds, with proven success at what they were bred for should be the ONLY candidates to be considered as a potential sire and dam if you are looking for a genuine half cross.

The exact same principle goes for all other lurchers, terriers, spaniels etc; be they lurcher to lurcher, half cross's and every other mix up you can think of.

Although not 100% guaranteed, if the sire and the dam are doing the business required and have been for a number of seasons, and they in turn come from generations of the same calibre of stock, then you are certainly tipping the scales in your favour regarding re-producing quality stock. You breed from unproven, shit workers, you may just fall lucky and get a decent one out of the union, but penny to a pinch of shit, your pups will probably end up as useless as the rubbish they were bred from.

Chihuahua are agressive little horrible basterds, but because they can only nibble your finger they wouldn't ever be put down.

In my opinion the APBT when well bread is a top grade of a dog, an athlete which means anything it does is intensified, just because its strong and muscular fantastic breed its been ruined by lads who cant control or know how to keep a balance and order its got into the media as basically a status dog, hopefully theres a few dog men about maintaing the correct breed standards instead of these pig things with huge bellies.

There's not a lot of propa pitbulls about today, I'm only 18 and realise that. I also noticed when staffy started to change like puggish. I've read into the history of game dogs and the orginal leggy apbt with a large head and muscular hind strong front where a real dog with a strong proud look . Can't bare these american bullies that cudnt turn for shit and have no athletisism about them.

Is a similar story with performance A.B when people say the Johnstone is a working type ?
