trenchfoot 4,243 Posted December 31, 2011 Report Share Posted December 31, 2011 (edited) ive been helped out no end by a few people of this site the main guy being MATT241075 ,he got me started by inviting me out on his permission ferreting with longnets and doing a few nights lamping ,after i had met him at a lurcher racing club .now a couple of years later ive got my own dog,ferrets ,locators,nets and permission and to be honest i cant get enough of it .ive been given working ferrets (deanflute,wabbit slayer)in genral most folk i have met have pretty much ok .althoughi did get an email of a guy who almost accused me of having his stolen dog ,despite the fact me having owned it for 3 years and me knowing the guy who bred it an reared it who passed it on to me . i also i bought some ferreting gear of the for sale section and went to pick it up from near stoke ,turns out the guy was an amature porn photographer who showed me a picture of his birds fanny . theres quite a few others whos names idont know or who ive met at the odd gamefair but ive got to admit theres also been one or two i wouldnt trust as far as i could throw em. Jim, if you still need a hand stock breaking the young dog, I should have the sheep on again soon. But i'm not showing you the wifes growler!
