paulus 26
Dogs and camera only for me just got a camera and have started taking it out have to admit i quite enjoy it, my photo`s are rubbish like but ha ho dont know if i will ever swop the gun for it but never say never Never been a shooter, so a camera came easy for me, must admit it doesnt have the appeal it once had, becomes a chore at times but it keeps the landowners happy and gives me the oppertunity to run the lurchers without having to keep looking over my shoulder Quote Link to post
Guest joball
Labspastic you aint done much foxing with lurchers have you if so you'd know how difficult the liitle critters can be, any muppet can shoot a fox from a window of the side of the road with a fox sitting at one end of the field or even one or two fields away, thing is you can shoot an educated fox but you ain't going to get him with a dog unless bushing in which they still have a chance of getting away with no guns! Sooner they ban rifles aswell the better or even better still! stop handing so many out to any old fool. Not every fox is a pest end of the day and I think they atleast deserve a little respect to get away imo 1 Quote Link to post

And i also think your "ban rifles" is a shocking statement on here and you need to get over your dogmen v shooters attitude...........imo!!. Quote Link to post
poacher3161 1,766
I have nothing in common with shooters bar selling a couple of them springers in the past and have in the past been shooting with a few lads and it dosent intrest me one bit.A lot of the divisions in the past between shooters and dog men were that shooters always had permission and most lurcher men didnt. Guest joball
Chart might of went a little to far with that statement, on a very rare occasion we have to use guns while out buahing but thats if the fox is realy doing damage. Quote Link to post

jeppi26 1,855
Guns are for failed dog men hahahahaha thats your book out the window  i think theres a difference between people mooching with a dog and a gun and the wholesale slaughter of fox`s with rifles but then again seen a post from a dog lad the other night saying he had done 17 foxs on someone elses ground with night vision does that not make him the same as the man driving around in the 4 x 4 blasting away? IMO no cos on foot or in a jeep you still av to get on to the fox to slip/drop the dog with a rifle all you do is spot it and fire job done (that's if your good with a gun) lollollollol Quote Link to post
