Turkey +Rabbits

Recommended Posts

Had a nice walk after me xmas dinner, with my brother-in-law about 4 pm and dogs. Went down lane by stables by me, you get few rabbits there not many but the dogs might knock the odd few out of cover. Bryn started marking thick gorse, then he went in and out went 1st rabbit . Tod went flat out after it, but it went back in to the edge Bryn side, Bryn must have seen it flew out the cover and nailed it there great. Went to the end of lane, Bryn was marking again this time by a old building, where there is lot of brambles round it.We got up to Bryn by now, he started to go in when 2nd rabbit came out, but this bugger somehow got behind me+ brother... and Tod , and started to get in the next field. Bryn must have known it had moved ,and went in field then Tod went after him . Both then went flat out after it, Tod put a srike just missed, Bryn then went right in the bottom of the edge and got it Brill. Brother-in-law was well happy, it really made is day he likes bit of hunting. He was over the moon with Bryn, thought he was great daytime dog. He thought Tod done well even though he did nick the 2nd rabbit of Bryn ,good job Bryn dont mind lol . So turkey for us today, and rabbits for the dogs boxing day .
