Ideation 8,217
One of my mrk3 collars seems to be a bit f****d. I put new batts in and it works fine, within a couple of hours the batts are flat as a pancake! Any ideas or anyone had this before? Quote Link to post
Rake aboot 4,936
Sounds like somits shorting the battery out, Make sure it`s all clean inside and theres nowt stuck in there, and that the contacts are not bent out of position. Failing that, call deben and tell them it`s faulty,, You could measure the resistance across the coller, from positive to negative and look to see if theres a short circuit. Quote Link to post

lksopener 105
Nor do you want alkaline batteries. You need a good quality silver oxide such as the rayovac or the Sony ones. If you have those in and it's not working contact Deben. Quote Link to post

Ideation 8,217
Yep, using rayovac and no problems in other collar. I'll try giving it a clean! Quote Link to post
