All farmers and land owners like to think they are getting something for nothing, so to start with give a little and in time you will get alot. Put it this way if a dodgy looking bloke was roaming about your ground you would be the first to feck him.

im learning a lot about myself today thats for sure,my dogs shite, dont ever edit a post to show regard to someone elses feelings and now i look dodgy :D

FFS are you going to cry about this all night

I was threatened by three idiots shooting pigeons in the field behind my house; shoot my dogs, give me a hiding, all sorts of threats. I calmly told them they had five minutes to pack up and clear off

It's annoying mate, but it's the fault of the idiots cutting the fences. Me and another member on here have a nice big farm we ferret and it looks perfect to lamp. We got ferreting permission no probl

i was on a bit of local land the other morning its not strickly a public foot path but every man woman a dogs on there 24/7. Anyway this fat fu*ker comes over like ten men, bearing in mind about 100

i been walking a bit of land for near on twenty years,ok in the main at night with the lamp, had some good nights over the years as well never had no trouble but then i aint ever been bumped on there so would explain why i suppose

anyway my bitch aint quite ready for the lamp yet so i been out bushing regular with her until today that is.

you can just tell the way someone comes swaggering over toward you it aint gonna be good news, anyway he proceeds to tell me im on private land, bearing in mind every woman and her lab walk this area and not a sign anywhere to say otherwise, maybe thats the problem.

apparently he had problems with fences being cut down from the adjoining golf course which is how people access the land, not by me you aint,if you never saw me today you still be none the wiser.oh well shit happens he didnt seem to find my request for permission very funny either, wrong time wrong place maybe :D

oh well suppose i been told now just have to stay clear till january and get the lamp charged  only joking wouldnt think of running a bit land with no permission, just aint the done thing.............................after all them days are long gone.........aint they ;)

I've mentioned before the hassle here because of poachers.

Last night i parked up at the side of the road and went into a wood surrounded filed. Heard/saw a vehicle stop at mine. Had to walk all the way back to find a concerned resident taking my number plate details. He was ok when i informed him i was 'Yvonne the rabbit lady' (that is what i am called in the area :icon_redface: ) But had i not gone back to the car..................

Not a bad idea tbh....not that i have any permission slips

I always think though, if the land owner get hassled too much from people complaining or reporting this and that, it will be much easier for him to stop me going on the land than have the headache of explaining to everyone, why/who/where

well my son got his first good hiding yesterday from the big fat useless looking farmer out the back of ours and he wasnt even on his land he was on his way to me dads allotment to shoot some rats! he took the lads gun off him and said he thought my lad was on is way over to his fields ( which he wasnt) and gave the old speech that he was just worried he might get hurt off the shot guns that were on his land at the time..nearly crapped himself when it was pointed out that he had just assaulted a minor

Did a farmer REALY assult your son and take his gun from him, when your son wasn't on his land ? Did you report it ? The farmer will be looking at losing his freedom, (assult/GBH/ABH, etc.), theft. The police and the prosocution will have a great time, IF your story is true !!

Cheers.

I find it difficult to bellieve a farmer would be so stupid !

oh believe me this story is very true! yes i called the police who have seized my sons gun for classification and taken a statement..that is what has prompted me to join this site to find him a hunting buddy because i dont want him going out on his own now. he not only gave him a good hiding he also threatened to shoot him if he tried to run away and said he would set his dog on him! now my son is a big lad for his age (over 6 foot) but he is really quiet and shy and didnt even answer the man back
