Bedding in new hw100

not long had my hw100 put about 3/4 of a tin of pellets through it (rws superfields what zini recomands) how long till its beddered in? cheers remyd

Hi you want to try different pellets because mine likes falcon accuracy plus ,super fields rws and mosquito express in .22 .My mate his likes AA field and H&N.Both are HW100.22

Whats your grouping like?

 

I've shot a fresh clean barrel and the 10 shot (.22) groups are less than 1/2 inch at 35 yards, with that kind of group It didn't need bedding in!

groups are tight but still getting the odd flyer! or probably my shooting to be fair and not being ideal conditions! just got told it takes a tin of pellets through it to lead the barrel and bed it in, then put through the crono to find out its true power!? cheers remyd

Each barrel and be different remyd, as can each batch of pellets. I found RWS Superfields in .22 produce too many flyers for my HW100, whether this was because the batch, or my barrel I don't know. Best to try another couple of different pellet types. I'd reccomend Weihrauch's own brand of pellets: Wehirauch Field and Target Special, or JSB Exacts. With regards to the chrono, the HW100's are amazingly consistant as they are regulated. Mine shoots flat from 200 down to 90 Bar (the green zone) with a maximum spread of no more than 10ft/sec over a full string
