discussion in college

Recommended Posts

had a discussion in college, in future careers, one that brought up was working for countryside contractors, anyone do this, whats pay like etc. It seems that alot of jobs in countryside sector are poorly paid[15-20 grand] are there any jobs which are quite good pay.

when you say countryside sector how do you mean? in reality it stretches from an underkeeper on £150 per week to consultants on £150 per hour

Hi mate,

do you consider 20K to be a low wage???

I know plenty of people who work for quite a bit less than that.

Such as myself.

Money isn't everything.

I would rather get 20k a year and love my job than 40k a year and hate every minute of it.

Do you ??

What would be an acceptable wage to earn then ??

Just curious.

i think that would depend on circumstances. If you were 16 and staying at home then you could live the life of Riley on 200 notes per week but if you had your own house or a family to support then 200 would be nothing. Got to start at the bottom and work your way up and hope you get some breaks along the way.
